It didn't take long for gas stations to flood across the country, popping up along major arterial roads, prime hard corner locations, and highway off ramps-wherever traffic and auto access optimized a retailer's pro-forma. This former station now houses Tracy's Auto Repair. That has been closed for many years as well. After the station closed, the building housed Winget's Korner Drive Inn. This former Texaco station had been abandoned for many years. This former station in Cedar City now houses A-1 Glass. This former Texaco station in Levan has been vacant for many years. By 2016, that business had closed and the building was boarded up. This photo is from 2014 when the building was housing Lone Peak Trailers. The building was painted orange around 2009. This former station might have been built in the 1940s. Around 2008, an old Texaco sign frame was moved from a couple blocks away to this lot. Around 2002, the building was painted and the pumps and old truck were also added. This former station appears to be from the 1920s or 1930s. There was a Sinclair pump next to it in 2010 which was gone by 2013. This building in Elberta may have been a Sinclair station. There was a vintage Sinclair sign on the property which may have been added later. This former station has apparently been vacant for many years. This former Sinclair station in Junction has been abandoned for many years. The rocks at the base were not original and the roof tiles were removed at some point. The canopy design identifies this building in Scipio as a former Sinclair station. This former station in Spring City was built in 1924. In 2017, the building was restored and Conoco signs and pumps were installed. This former Conoco station was built in 1924. The Baugh Motel was built next door in 1957 and the gas station was converted into the motel's office. This former station was probably built in the 1920s or 1930s.
